Why? Because I don’t want to identify with my egoic self. That’s the part of me that makes life harder…when everything is truly ok and good, my ego nitpicks, takes inventory on what it’s getting back, judges everything it can, then circulates it’s toxic waste through my brain (left side), and brings me down, makes me feel unhappy, bad, sad, worried, scared, insecure, anxious, doubtful, clingy, fake…ewwwww!
I’m taking over and showing my ego who’s really in charge!
There’s an essence to us all that is our pure self…this is what Eckharte Tolle refers to that part of us we find when we are still. I now know and try to remember that when I feel angry, frustrated, jealous, blah… it’s my ego that is feeling hurt, not me. The more I practice just waiting for my ego to finish feeling dramatically victimized, the closer I get to being someone I like. I enjoy a good stare-down when I catch it sneaking up on me…sometimes I don’t realize that it’s invaded my thoughts, but when I consciously awaken in the present moment, I look it straight on, with hands on my hips, tapping my foot and wait for the negative feelings to disappear…yes, I get my tushy back in the saddle again…
“The things that most people do not understand, is that you get to control the way you feel, because you get to choose the thoughts you think.”, simply & beautifully stated from a Abraham-Hicks daily quote.
Kabbalah shows us that challenges are given to us as opportunities to transform our nature so that we can meet these situations head-on with acceptance & love in order to elevate our souls to a higher (better) place…this is an example of why life feels difficult sometimes…our ego’s have ego’s and our ego’s get insulted…good! The more we practice waiting for our ego’s feelings to get over itself, the happier we will feel…then we can do some good. We’re pretty useless if we allow ourselves to be swallowed up by our ego’s.
These ideas used with The Law of Attraction, offers us a mini-manual of how we can use our situations, our consciousness, our feelings and our minds to create lives for ourselves that make sense, and feel good.
Find your most golden self…
Inner Peace All,

Robert Fulghum said, “Don’t worry that children never listen to you. Worry that they are always watching you.”
Since that’s the case, we need to responsibility for our actions, which begins with our thoughts.
“You can never have a happy ending at the end of an unhappy journey…The way you’re feeling, along the way, is the way you’re continuing to pre-pave your journey, and it’s the way it’s going to continue to turn out until you do something about the way you are feeling.” (Abraham-Hicks.com)
It’s pretty great that we can have a good feeling life by being in charge of our own thoughts & not worrying about what others are doing.
Every moment is the perfect time to start…
Spiritual Goddess Louise L. Hay in her book “You Can Heal Your Life”, says that “Each Moment Is A New Beginning…The Point of Power is always in the present moment. You are never stuck. This is where the changes take place, right here and right now in our own minds! It doesn’t matter how long we’ve been in a negative pattern or an illness or a poor relationship or a lack of finances or self-hatred. We can begin to make a shift today!”
If we’re healthy, happy, kind, compassionate & giving, then we’ll attract others to be likewise. The way to encourage others to make positive changes is to be an authentic example of positivity for them to look at for inspiration. Let’s not concern ourselves with who’s watching us, let’s just know that if we’re feeling good about the lives we’re living, then they can watch us all they want.
Let’s look for & find joy in the ownership of our present moments…

Whether or not we have kids, we can encourage all kids to get excited about creating their lives…to be their most authentic selves by sharing our excitement for them, with them…yahoo!
The 6th Verse of The Tao Te Ching is called “Living Creatively”, (from “Change Your Thoughts Change yourLife” by Dr. Wayne Dyer). “Whatever you feel within you as your calling–whatever makes you feel alive–know in your heart that this excitement is all the evidence you need to have your inner passion become reality. Whatever you feel compelled to do–be it write music, design software, do floral arrangements, clean teeth or drive a taxi–do it with your unique flair. Being creative means trusting your inner calling, ignoring criticism or judgement, and releasing resistance to your natural talents.”
Creativity vs. Competitiveness: Creatively Achieving anything, feels good & is always fun!
A great book for parents of high school seniors is ”The Launching Years, Strategies For Parenting FromSenior Year To College Life”, by Laura S. Kastner, Ph.D., and Jennifer Wyatt, Ph.D.
They say, “Whether it’s college admission or career choice, families who stay rigidly attached to a narrow view of what’s good and what’s successful can make a child feel ‘less than’ when her path takes another course. Going for the gold can be great, but also find a positive way of rising to the occasion of what the options turn out to be.”
Mother’s day & Father’s day is Everyday…I think we serve our kids well by encouraging them to be theirbest authentic selves.
“There is no greater gift we can give others than that of unselfish assistance motivated by our pure desire to see all beings elevated and uplifted.”.
Being a part of the collective positive energy is ”the only way for us to evolve as a species” (Eckhart Tolle)…
“Our inner guidance will lead us, so that we will be drawn to the right doorway for us–a doorway that only we can recognize by the way it makes us feel inside. …Others may share what worked for them, but only we can decide what truly makes us feel inspired, awakened, connected, fully conscious, aware and alive. Whatever our path, it is perfect and is meant especially for us.”.
There are no limits on how good our lives can be…age is inconsequential & always will be!
Find & Feel joy then pass it on…
Namaste,
Randi B.
