New word for your Wiki maybe…. GOP VP hopeful Sarah Palin simply saying what she wants to have people hear, regardless of situation, accuracy or even reality. This is lame verbal gymnastics where the player in the game simply avoids parts of the track that they dont like or want, and claims the new track they use is the correct one. Such attempts at reality modification are in word only and unspportable by factual previous acts… attributed to Sarah, this is something of a newly minted category so twisted that it requires its own word. PALINISM.

She did this before , spinning McCain’s “fundamentals of the economy are strong” into “What he was really saying is the fundamental strength of the economy is the american worker”. prime example of a PALINISTIC reworking of a statement that even the SPIN Dr. CARL ROVE casually mentions as ” something of a stretch”

So who is on our side here, i mean the side of paying enough attention to the facts in a held accountable and reality based way? MSNBC? Literally from out of nowhere Rachel Maddow has emerged and gained a solid audience doing what Comedy Central and other have been doing for quite some time. Her work is spun to the left but solid in evidence gathering, it is as though her best material is already made to order and ready for prime time simply by asking a well crafted question or two and sucessfully pointing out the unnerving lack of complete reasoning in the responses she gets.

Untill now. Rachel is getting in and assembling the out and out misrepresentations, and calling a lie a lie.

Applause for Rachel.
Although we at CTN Green steadfastly believe that calling anyone a liar is never an option on the table, thats just us, and thankfully we can rely on others who are sufficiently adept for such stuff, such as pointing out the replacement of “Found guilty of…” with “Cleared of any …”

Hence: our newly coined term… yet another “ISM

PALINISM: ( act of ) responding to a question by replacing damaging detail with desireable detail.
