TARGET GREEN ROOF
Kestrel Design Group, an Edina-based landscape architectural firm, has released images of what the Target Center green roof will look like when it’s completed in 2009. The 113,000-square-foot green roof will be Minnesota’s largest.

Peter MacDonagh, lead designer of Kestrel Design Group, said the green roof will capture 20 million gallons of stormwater each year, and will help prevent the flow of toxins and other contaminants into the Mississippi River. And with an expected lifespan of 40 years, the green roof should last twice as long as a traditional roof.
Target has been Green and Eco Friendly since before it was upfront, and has a new website www.Together.com where you can find about everything ecosensible for your home.
