EARTH HOUR

2 years ago some people in Australia decided to have a 1 hour time-out from electricity.

Thats a deliberate blackout. The name of it is earth hour. Last Year on March 31st it was far more widespread and global… and amazing. When you are in a normally light ‘polluted’ area on a cloudless night you do not see the all the stars so to speak. http://www.earthhour.org/ intends that at 8:30pm Saturday March 28th 2009 …

Earth Hour 2009 is set to switch off the globe. Already 538 cities in 75 countries which is double the number of countries that participated in 2008, are committed. With hundreds more cities expected to sign up to switch off in the coming months, Earth Hour 2009 is setting the platform for an unprecedented global mandate for action on climate change.

If anything, its solidarity.

Might be cool to unplug for an hour.. how about 200 acoustic guitars all playing on a rooftop in LA… to celebrate Earth Hour/
